External providers of website delivery and security services process your IP address, access time and requested pages, including in the USA. Access logs are deleted after seven days. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in reliable, secure website delivery (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
For processing in the USA, these providers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. You can request information and a copy of the applicable safeguards using the contact details above.
Appearance and language
When you choose light or dark mode, your browser saves your choice until you change it or clear site data. It is not sent to us. This implements the setting you request (section 25(2)(2) TDDDG; Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Language suggestions use your browser’s language setting.
Contact
We use contact details and your message to answer enquiries: contract-related enquiries under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, others in our legitimate interest in responding under Article 6(1)(f). Recipients include Germany-based providers of mailbox and email-delivery services. We delete correspondence after resolving the enquiry unless a contract, legal retention duty or legal claim requires continued storage. Statutory retention relies on Article 6(1)(c). Your details are voluntary, but we need sufficient information to respond.
